    Hi,
I followed the root guide and have SuperSU installed. Now when I double click 'ROM Flash Tool' I have the error 'No foudn RKAndroid rock usb'. I can't find instructions on how I change that to 'found'!.
Could someone please point me in the right direction.
    Thanks
    Paul

I changed the debugging mode and it found it. Then it wouldnt reboot to flash mode. So I found these instructions:
    in terminal:
    Code:
    Su
    Reboot bootloader
Then it found it and I was able to flash the ROM. I now have Finless v1.7 on my icube mk809ii ;-p

Did it work before flashing ?!
Did you flash the correct ROM ?

    Why did I ask this...
At the MK808B we also got this Problems, because there are 2 or 3 Versions on the Market and one Clone, which is the same but has a different WiFi Chipset.
So if you flash the ROM to the Clone Device, it will work, but without WiFi !

Look at Freaktab.com for the 809 to find a Solution for this.
Or ask People which have the same Device, not much yet...

    Hi,
yes I flashed his latest v1.7 without reading compatibility. Apparently the latest one to work with MK80* is 1.5a. I will work out how to reflash once I can get terminal on it.
The wifi did work before. I also have a usb ethernet adapter in work which I will bring home to get online to install terminal.
I will also see if I can find some help on how to just repair the wifi in 1.7 as this ROM is really good. I have no audio sync issue with video playback now, it was super smooth.
    Thanks
    Paul

I brought home a USB to ethernet adapter which works. So I have the best of both worlds, Finless v1.7 with amazing video pleayback plus 100mbit ethernet. I have 60mbit broadband anyway.

You mention a video problem, was it the same issue that I am having? My video plays ok for 10 mins, then the audio stops for 30 seconds and then the video, then they resynch and playback resumes for another 10 mins or so. Are there any other differences with the 1.7 ROM? My wireless hasn't work from day one, so I'm using a 100Mbps ethernet adaptor too so the wifi issue doesn't matter to me either.

    Hi,
my video playback issue was that the audio was a fraction out of sync with the video. It played fine I never had it stop unexpectedly.

Definitely different from mine. I lose it for 30 seconds at a time, not just a fraction out of synch.
