    Yuandao N101 Frimware 20th Sept. (latest version released from YUANDAO factory which about solving battery charging issue)

    Same version, but I doubt is the kernel itself is the same. This is an extra-release, it's intended to fix the NO CHARGING problem. That is all the info for now.

    the no charging is pure hardware problem it happens also when device is off. So there is no kernel to fix that.

    But it fixes the charging problem, it's confirmed (at least, once).

    There is kernel that fixes dead screen light problem, which works somehow. Read here about this story: viewtopic.php?f=78&t=396
    or here about another: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=529

    So, impossible appeared to be possible once again, Mister IKnowItIsImpossible

    I'd like to try this firmware but I've never been able to get rockchip tool to see my tablet. I did manage to do one firmware update previously from the SD card by putting teh update.img file on teh SD card, however I haven;t been able to repeat that since. How do you update directly from teh SD card without using teh roskchip tool :?:

    update.img using sd-card is only update a partial of your system (not recommanded, if flash failed and you can use rockchip tool then you can access to the tab anymore)

    does it fix somebody charging issue? because i didn't see the different lib between this and this: viewtopic.php?f=79&t=818#p6822

    this one has only to chinese apps.

    One guy on russian forum told it started to charge, but I didn't try mystlf yet. I'm having the same problem so I will.

    No difference at all in system, but what about kernel?

    kernel build seems to be the same. Same build date. Boot.img is almost the same (except the tab name in init.rc)
    recovery.img and misc.img i haven't take a look at it.

    Maybe some power chip updating procedures have been patched into the current kernel build? Is it possible scenario?
