Sweet.... just got one about a week ago and am hoping it will help with the 720 P XBMC stutter since they just updated XBMC as well.
I don´t think so. As i know theres no Device which runs 720p on XBMC without stutter now... I prefer MX Player with H/W Codec to play 720p fully smooth ! I tried this on the Finless 1.5 with MX Player and HW Dec. Runs really without Problems to me.
Ok, good to know. Thanks for your Reply, this Issue is known by geekbuying since 2nd February, and the are working on a Pre-Rooted Version of this. At the Moment they have made a Beta Version Rooted, but I can´t upload it yet, because of their Dropbox is down this Time due to much Traffic. I´ll upload a new Version since they provide it.
No, but this will not work for you. Geekbuying warns for testing it.. Sop testing is on your own Risk... But be sure to have a Original ROM to flash it back.
I have an mk808b. I used it for one week i wnt to turn it on one day after work and got the no signal to tv problem ..i read around the geekbuying forum and seen it might need to be flashed to fix my problem..thought my problem was solved until i actually tried to connect it to my comp and my comp did not detect the stick..so i thought it might be my win xp comp so i tried it on a win vista machine..still nothing ..cant get a comp to detect my stick so i can flash it..someone PLEASE help me im getting extremely frustrated and im ready to smash this thing..
Hold the Reset Button on the MK808B and at this time holding it, plug it in to your PC USB Port. Take a Port of the Backside of your PC ! Normally it should recognize it.
I did hold the button before plugging in the usb on both computers i attempted..i tried multiple times to no avail...i also read someone else had the same issue as mine..they claimed in there post that i took 50+ attempts and about 2 hrs before the comp even detected the stick to install driver..i found it to be a lil far fetched for that to be possible but anything can be possible in this instance i guess
The cable is it connect to the OTG port of the MK808B ? Have you launch your device manager and do a Scan for new hardware ?
I am connecting the otg port but i didnt scan for new hardware..im gonna try that when i get home..hopefully it works in my favor
I i held the button ..connected the otg port..scanned for new hardware changes in device manager and still nothing..i tried a few times on my vista os..i still didnt try my xp laptop..but i doubt it would make a difference what os im using..so frustrating!!
Which Vista version are you using ? have you patch before ? Or is there already a device detected in the device manager but they can't find the correct driver only ?
I think one of the reason why they keep mentioning.. "Turn on USB Debugging on the Android device" ,,,,,,... this is my method of doing it .. http://www.kmods.net/android/how-to/novo7a-usb-driver-install/
i cant get the thing to turn on ..im having the no signal to tv issue...that's my main reason for flashing the firmware
