    Now My device is detected in PC.
    I did the following,
    a) RK Batch tool - I clicked switch so the Rose colour connected turned to Blue colour
    b) In RKandroidtool my device is getting detected as "Found RKandroid MASKROM ROCK USB"
    c) Clicked Erase NAND in RK Android Tool
    d) Then added the kernel and boot and tried to flash it
    e) I'm getting error message as download IDB failed.

    Please help me out.

    Now I'm not even able to boot the device without WIFI too, i think the erase NAND has deleted everything. And my device is empty...

    First, please stop posting this Thread again and again on my Profile. I follow it and every new Post from you will be recognized here...

    So to your Problem, I´m wondering as your Device gets detected as MASKROM Mode, because this only can be done manually by shorting 2 NAND Pins...
    This can help if your Nand is corrupted and the Loader is the false one. But you´re correct, your NAND is erased completely not only the ROM, the whole NAND is like a brand new Chip without Loader and ROM. But that´s not bad.

    So I think you´re on the right way to get it back to life.
    a) b) and c) are correct and I think at d) you only have to add everything including Loader and Stuff to get it running again, because it is really empty now.
    No Loader, no Bootup !

    So you should try your Steps again the following way:

    1. Try to get it into MASKROM Mode again and get it recognized.
    2. Erase NAND again, but be patient and let it finish...
    3. Download this ROM and flash it with FinlessTool: http://www.freak-tab.de/finless/ug80...ss17_beta3.zip
    4. Normally this should fix your Problems, if not try to use FinlessTool for everything.

    If you did not get Errors by Erasing NAND and get it recognized, but get IDB Errors, try to use another Cable to flash and use your PCs Backports and USB 2.0 not 3.0 !
    That´s it for now... Please Report.

    As you are told on Freaktab use the 1.7 ROM and try it. :p
    The way you did is not false only check Launcher and the others and try again.

    Hi,

    I tried it and still i'm getting the same error. Attached is the image of that, I have manually added all the parameter / misc / kernel / boot etc..

    [IMG]

    I'm able to connect the MK809 to PC as "Found RKandroid MASKROM ROCK USB" in Finless ROM Tool without shorting the PINS 7&8.

    I tried with ROM 1.7 / 1.7 Beta 3 -Finless ROM Tool & Factory ROM using RK Batch TOOL, i'm getting as Download IDB failed only.

    But you can Erase NAND with success ??

    Have you tried some other USB Cable ?
    Did you use USB 2.0 at the Backports of your PC ?

    There are only 2 Options what happend, 1st... your NAND Chip is dead. 2nd... you only flashed the false Loader... This Time I thought you only have flashed the false Loader, but if you can´t get it back to Life with this 2 Try´s.... I´m out of Ideas...

    1st Try...
    If nothing works, try to Erase Nand again with RKAndroidTool, then download a Stock ROM for your Device and flash it as img File with RKBatchTool normally.

    2nd Try...
    If not, try to Erase NAND with FinlessTool and then only try to flash Loader and parameter File, nothing else, then use RKBatchTool to flash a img ROM File normally.

    Any Ideas? @Tuen @Joschi @Piers @Geekbuying

    Firmware Download Link
    http://www.freak-tab.de/neomode/neotvcr_mk809_3_ug007b_20130615.zip

    How to install?

    1 Download the firmware above;

    2 Decompress the file you just download;

    3 click” RKDevelopTOOL_V1.37″ folder and run”RKandroidtool”

    4 find a paper clip and press the recovery button in QC802/MK809III/UG007B (reovery hole is in the side of those tv sticks) and AT THE SAME TIME, put the micro usb cable in the OTG port(not the DC port) and connect with your PC;

    5 now your pc should inform you find a new device, and go to “my computer‘ –“device manager” to install the drivers, the driver is also in the download file.

    6 after install the driver, the RKANDROIDTOOL will inform you foundRKandroid rock usb, and then click” RUN” button.
