ok so i think this is just like when i flashed my iconia a501. there are 2 drivers, one is when the device is on and one is when the device is off (apx mode).

the second driver doesn't install correctly. where do i get the driver for haier and how can i confirm whether the driver install correctly?

I presume you are using Windows 7, correct? If so, which architecture, 32bit or 64bit?

For safety, I will recommend you stay away from guides that are not in this section of the forum, just until we get back up and running.

Alright, what error messages do you get when installing the drivers for flashing?

    yes, will do that...

the error message is just the regular "couldn't find the correct driver"

Tuen, can you have a screenshot how the phone is connected in the device manager when it is on download mode?

when the phone is on, it is detected as an HTC device.

it's the driver as expected. i used my friends laptop which had windows 7 32bit.
in the beginning the driver failed to install. then i forced install it. i updated the driver from the device manager. actually i tried this method from my laptop also but didn't worked. there was a warning that the driver is not signed or something. but eventually it worked out.
    phone is really good!

Ah, I didn't realise the drivers weren't signed. In which case you can enable "test driver signing" on your computer and then they should install fine.

    1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Search box.
    2. Right-click cmd.exe under Programs, and then click Run as administrator.
    3. At the command prompt, type the following text, and then press ENTER:

      bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON
    4. Close the Command Prompt window, and then restart your computer.
