    Hello all,
    Thanks for excellent efforts.
Started with the Chuwi V99 tablet, wasn't happy with the software (Chinese undeletable apps, slow, instable, not support for my language, etc etc)
Tried the Visture software...better, but Android incompatibility and still bit slow. Tried to root it, but didn't succeed for some reason. Therefore, I couldn't try to improve Android incompatibility as described in two ways above.
Then tried Lunatic based on the above comments. Stable, high compatibility, much faster, large language support etc. Thanks again, very useful!

Main drawback I've found is the 160 dpi setting, that means approximately 1280x960 resolution. The screen still looks decent, but it would be so great to be able to use the full resolution.
The 2048x1536 resolution was the main reason I bought this tablet in the first place.

Hope such a ROM will be developed in the near future. What's cooking out there?

Which one is better? Lunatic or Danerick?

Also, when it says "based on Visture V4HD" in the rom description, does it mean it is for Visture V4HD only?

    Thank you.

    Hello

The Lunatic ROM is also from Danerick ;)
"based on Visture V4HD" means that the ROM based on the OF from Visture, but its compatible with all the RK3066 Retina Tablets ( Chuwi V99, Cube U9GT5, Yuandao N90 FHD, Visture V4HD)
I use still the Lunatic ROM, for me it's still the best solution.

Thanks. Downloading Lunatic. Do you have A V99 too?
I am trying to root my Chuwi V99. Win7 is not recognizing the device in debugging mode. Some driver is missing. So, the rooting software is not working.Where can I find the driver for it?

    I have a Yuandao N90FHD.

The drivers are in my dropbox too.
    Just follow the HowTo.
If you flashing the Lunatic ROM, you don't have to root your Tablet, because the ROM is rooted. Just start SuperUser after flashing.

    Hello everyone,

If I want a certain app to appear in the play store, how can I do that? It's available on all other units I have, but the Yuandao N90FHD won't find it. The app is called TV2 sporten. It's a norwegian sports app! Any ideas? :)

Hey SajetS, thanks for all your help. My Chuwi V99 is now running Lunatic, and it looks quite slick. Haven't tried Danerick, but I am happy with Lunatic for now. The "Nexus 7" part was just cherry on top.

Everything is working so far. There is the occasional random device shutdown, and random WiFi shutdown. The shutdowns never happened while using the device, and the WiFi only went down when the device was in sleep mode. Not sure if these are battery saving features, or may be it is just my device that is faulty.

Is there going to be further development of Lunatic roms, or has Danerick moved the development completely to Danerick roms?

The thing with the ROMS is somewhat difficult because the most developer moved for programming ROMs for the new Quad-Core Retina tablets
We have to wait for what will happen.

I tried to flash the new rom, but it failed somehow. Now I can't turn on the tablet, and I can't get it in recovery either. hat should I do? The screen is black.

I press the power button while it is connected to the computer, but it disconnect after one or two seconds. Because of that, the computer don't see it. So now I can't connect it, and thus I can't flash it. I simply cannot turn it on either. BIG problem!
