    It is with great regret that ipadalternative.com has closed as of April 29th. This is due to the fact that our Chinese counter-part has become unreliable and untrustworthy. To existing customers, below is the name, address, e-mail and telephone number of the person who has been dealing with your order.

    Please contact them with your details to get a resolution for your case.

    Ipadalternative will continue to keep mail accounts open to help resolve all outstanding issues. We are aware of the implication of this decision for our staff and customers, and are truly sorry to have to do this.

    If they are unreliable and untrustworthy, why have you redirected YOUR customers to them? Our trust was placed in YOU not your Chinese counterpart. YOU placed YOUR trust in them and when they fail you, why must we the customers be punished for it? You have a responsibility and a commitment to YOUR customers that you have failed to provide. Very angry and very disappointed!

    So no chance of ever getting a refund then!!

    Unfortunately its easy to place a company into administration and close it, that way all shareholders gets paid and customers can be ignored. All debts and responsibilities cleared, brand name tarnished but irrelevant as they can just setup again.

    Watch as ipadalternative pop up with a different name and the same staff somewhere else. I hope if they do re-appear the previous issues customers faced are recognised and they are not endorsed.

    They are different people, Jamie is the owner of the company and, from what I know, Hank was the supplier who decided to stop refunding or dealing with order issues. Jamie has said that he will offer as much assistance as possible to help customers get the money back from Hank.

    I don't see how the supplier can be responsible for refunds when the sales contract is between the buyer and ipadalternative seeing as they were the ones who took the buyers money not the supplier.
    Or is it some kind of voluntary administration loophole?

    Then it should be iPadAlternative's legal responsibility to refund the customers' money. A contract was made between the customer and iPadAlternative, not the supplier. It was iPadAlternative that took the customers' money. The fact that the supplier has ceased dealings with iPadAlternative (or vice-versa) has nothing to do with the contract between iPadAlternative and its customers. It just seems that Jamie does not want to give back the money and going into administration allows him to keep the money and ditch the company. As for the customers, he's probably laughing and giving us all the finger.
