MK808 - Simple wifi fix

    For an unknown reason the ANT was soldered to GND on one of the wifi antennas.

    I unsoldered the grey cable and attached it only to the ANT and now I'm doing a whopping 65 Mbps.

    Thanks for the info. I might have a look at my MK808 too since it has quite a bad Wi-Fi signal.

    Posting here because it's the first Google hit for 'MK808 wifi'.

    My MK808 is an MK808B model with Bluetooth. It had Bluetooth but no wifi at all out of the box. The fix for me was to unsolder completely the wire connected to the antenna and replace with a 12cm single wire soldered to 'ant'. Plus, cover the contact pressed on 2 spring pins with a piece of paper.

    The next issue is that out of the box the clock does not pick up network time, which means the clock is Jan 1st 1970. Google Play Store does not work with this data as the security certificate is not valid. Set the clock and you can use Play Store.
