I'm afraid I don't have access to 64 bit OS to test. Have you checked that USB debugging us definitely enabled? Incidentally are you on amd64 bit or Intel x64?

You might have some problems on Intel x64 .

You could try the driver over at xda:

So, this tells me that your problem is not the device driver, but the adb your are using. PDA.NET is installed on your phone via USB during the driver installation, this information is in the post provided via link 1.

As suggested following step 7 in the guide you can try to use the adb provided by link 2 if you are having problems at this stage. Please make sure that you have followed the guide and added the SDK platform tools directory to you system PATH variable. You do not need to be in the platform tools directory to run adb this way, it is also probably not a good idea to have the SDK in AppData as this is normally treated as a privilige access directory by Win7 and could cause problems.

I suggest that you use the adb provided by link 2 in the directory that you extract the .zip to and type "adb shell" as suggested by the guide.

Took me ages to root but finally did it. Had to use other cable from a nokia since the cable provided was not recognized by windows. Also i had to first install the google adb driver in sdk package, then edit the device in and then install it over unknown rc30 device in device manager before the pdanet driver would install. Felt a bit double to reinstall it because my device was found after the google drivers installed. Anyone know how to get clockworkmod working? Since i want to flash finless mod now.

Yes android sdk must be in your c:\windows or what you have
dont install pdanet driver but just the google usb driver. ( i think pdanet driver is optional at the moment) you must tick that box in sdk manager and edit the lines in inf after you move it to that path and restart eclipse to add the new path. or just start over using the right path

The cable that comes with the mk809 is rubbish if you have another micro USB data cable you know to be good from another device like smart phone or camera try that. You will have much more success!
