My Mk809II is in a loop.
I would like to shortcut the motherboard but do not know which pins to reset.
There are a lot of layouts. This one is ordered two months ago (Dx). Android 4.2.2. but problems with video streams.
Anyone a hint? Another solution is also welcome.
    Thanks in advance.

Try to find the Reset Button at your Device and flash it like the Guide at my Signature... How to get into Flash Mode...
Normally it´s hard to brick the Device, I think you only have to get into Flash Mode "the hard Way" again. Read my Signature Guides !!

If this won´t work and your Device will only be recognized with Pink or Blue Square at RKBatchTool, then you need to bridge the Pins like at this Picture...

Normally it´s PIN 8+9. But sometimes also 7+8. Just try it if needed.

Normally you should get back into Flash Mode by pushing and holding the Reset Button while Connecting to USB !

Maybe ask the Seller about a Firmware, thats normally the best Chance you have, as there are so many different Clones at the Market, it would be hard to find a perfect one from another Device.

    Hi Guys,
I have the same device and am attempting to short out the device however this is sill not working for me.
Are you able to confirm the exact steps to shorting it into flash mode?
I am doing this whilst connected to my PC via the data port on the device. Do I need to press and hold for a certain amount of time.
Any help would be HUGELY appreciated.
    Cheers

You need to short the pins and while holding the needle on it, connect the otg port to your pc, nothing else, then open the flash tool and if you are not in mask Rom mode, then click switch, normally it should recognize it without switch, if it says mask Rom mode, then release needle from the pins and erase idb. After this the normal flash mode should work again and you can flash your original Rom back to the nand.

    Hi,

Finally managed to get back on track. Rather than shorting specific pins I found out that there were 2 small points next to the chip that can be shorted out and hey presto my device was recognised in the Rockchip Batch Tool.

I have now successfully flashed using rk3066_T005_Launcher2_public_20121215.img which is a stock image. This boots fine however streaming video is still a problem and crashes resulting in a reboot!

Are you able to confirm the best ROM for me to flash now that I seem to have things up and running. I have read several threads and opinions seem to vary quite a bit! Would finless 1.7a be the best solution?

    Thanks again.

I personally think, hybrid Rom from lewy20041 is better then finless.

Thanks so much. The ROM hybrid ROM seems to be for mk808. Will this be OK for mk809ii?
