    Hey Guys,

I got an Idea and need your help.
I´m interested in using a PiPO Ultra-U8T 3G GPS as a IN CAR Navigation System and Multi Media Center.
Or did Pipo work to bring up RK3288 fast enough to wait for it ?!
GPS is really important for this use !

Any Ideas ? Got some Universal Car Holders...

Has anyone tried this Tablet ? Is GPS good enough ?!
Any Ideas and help will be much appreciated.

Pipo was one of the first companies to be said working on RK3288 tablets..
But for the intended purpose - do you need the latest tech!?

For GPS - I do not know... I only know my Samsung S2 phone sucks really in this regard.

    Hello my friend,

I'm so sorry to tell you that there is no the type you want in Coolicool.
    I recommend to you
    Flytouch 8 10.1 Inch http://www.coolicool.com/flytouch-8-10-1-inch-resistive-android4-0-tablet-pc-gps-3g-p19.html
    and
    Flytouch 7S Allwinner A10 http://www.coolicool.com/flytouch-7...resistive-gps-android-4-0-tablet-pc-p187.html
both of them have high value for money and a good evaluation. You can considered.
And you can find out the oficial page of PIPO on google. I wish you can buy your favorite tablet PC. :)

To be frank, if using the PiPO Ultra-U8T 3G GPS as a IN CAR Navigation System and Multi Media Center, the tablet will become slow, laggy as you can see. Plus, if you do consider the GPS feature as a key point, it would be better take a GPS navigator. Rockchip devices are not made for GPS.

@mrkus21 Not really, I mean that tablets are not born for GPS navigators, but mainly used for entertainment. GPS works fine in tablets yet.

    Any update here!?
Did you find tablet fitting the purpose?
Even Mediatek seem to get a bit better at GPS support these days..or am I am mistaken?
    Not sure about Rockchip though...

No time for it now, but seems that tablets with GPS are not really a alternative for a Navi system

Hi, our U8T device is not boot anymore, only flashlight starts but that's all. Any ideas how can we hard reset this device? Reset settings for background hole with pin/toothpick is not helping .... Problems start when we tried to upgrade firmware, but this procedure stops before upgrade is finnish, and device is not booting anymore. All kind of ideas are welcome.
