Thank you! Been using your version 4.0.02 and it works great in unpacking shipped or custom ROMs. Flashing by RKBatch tool or Individual images works well too.

Thanks for sharing your firmware tool(s).

Hi Sergio!!!! Thanks for all your work!!!! I have to say that this tool is wonderful. The only problem that I had was to get a full root permissions on the system folder (in android).
I got no way to edit permissions in some files on this folder when I extract it in Windows. When I try to change permissions I get nothing, also moving system folder to Ubuntu.
The only way was, taking system.img to Ubuntu mount it on a folder, edit it, umounting and then come back to Windows to build the firmware.
    Regards.

    Hi Sergio,
Your work on this tool is fantastic! It does everything I want, all rolled up into one brilliant tool.
However, I have upgraded to version 4.0.33.00 and I cant find the option to root a firmware anymore. I've searched through all the options but I just cant see it anywhere.
Would it be possible for you to re implement this option to root a firmware, in your next update please?
    It would be most appreciated.

Keep up the good work on this tool - Its awesome!

    Hi Segrio,

Thanks for the update :) - I have just downloaded and am impressed with the improvements you've made with the tool. However, I noticed that the Root function still appears to be missing.
Has this function been removed purposefully?
Is there any plans to re implement this in an update?

Thanks for all your hard work on this tool.

    Kind regards,
    taptank

Yes. Root function removed - Different devices and different versions always do differently root. Simlink and etc.
Root button - removed forever )

    Hi Sergio,

    Thanks for clarifying.
As much as I'll miss this function (will just have to stick with my alt tool for applying root) I understand your reasons behind the removal.
I really like the updates, this makes customising my own ROM so much easier.

    Keep up the good work,
    Regards,
    taptank

Unfortunately DOTNET 4.x is incompatible with Windows XP MCE 2005 (gotta love Microsoft), so I will have to try it on another PC with Windows 7.

I CAN install DOTNET 4.x, but would have to uninstall again to get back MCE functions after using RK3xxx.

This new version still has the bug that make RK3188 unbootable with no signal on screen.
All versions prior to v4.0.02 works correctly.
    Hope it can be fixed.
