    Hi folks,

First of all Sergio, thank you very much for great tool and lots of effort put into that app.

    Guys I need your help.
I'm assuming only myself having this kind of issue.
I have tried most recent version of the Sergio's tool - 5.10.28.00 (i had same issue with all other tools).

I can extract FW no problems, I can extract system partition as well... But when I'm trying to repack system partition I'm getting weird error: Couldn't create file run.cmd
    first:
And then Following error - windows cannot find run.cmd file:

Looks like it can't find file run.cmd. If I check app folder -true, not there, but I could find it in the FW folder and here's content of the file:

    Code:
    bin\genext2fs.exe -a -d temp/system -b 737280 -m 0 tmp_system.img

    bin\genext2fs.exe -a -d temp/system -b 737280 -m 0 tmp_system.img

    bin\genext2fs.exe -A temp/system_statfile.txt -d temp/system -b 737280 -m 0 tmp_system.img
I tried different compatibility modes - XP, Win8, etc. I tried with fresh Windows 7 install, windows XP mode & etc

I'm really frustrated. What am I doing wrong???

    Thank you very much!

    I had the same problem.
Closed the application, and started it "as administrator"
    Solved it for me...
    -EDIT-
Turns out, a restart of the application does the trick...

Sergion, AvanOsch, thank you both for advising. But I tried everything:
    Restart App
    Run As Administrator
    Run in XP mode
Used fresh install - Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP
I know that the app is working, but it doesn't work in my setup.
I'm just frustrated what can it be.
    Sergio, нужна помощь!

    Strange...
The file (run.cmd) should get copied to the root of the application during building...
Just guessing, but maybe the folder is write-protected?
You could try and copy everything to the root of your drive (D:\RK3xxxFirmware\) and try again.

After a short try and error session I found a workaround for the run.cmd problem. Copy the image you wish to extract into the root folder of the firmware tool. Don't use the the dump folder or any other place.
In my environment, the tool created the file in the folder where the image was saved. But the tool expected it in his own root folder.
I hope, the workaround works for you, as it works for me.

My System: Windows 7 64bit, start Tool as Administrator

Thank you for this nice tool, it make it very easy for me to create a system as I need it.

Hi Sergio!! I have a problem. I edit permissions on SuperSu.apk on system folder to 755, then I flash the firmw and when I go to see permission on the tablet, I see SuperSu.apk change permissions to 644 and of course no root. ;-(
    Any idea?
Thanks for your work and your expectacular program!!!

You neeed use Kernel.img or Zimage only from original you tablet. (stock fw)

What you This - what is it? uncorrect name or FW patch, space character was found.
dont use spaces and not latin folder/file name to/ firmware.
    This easy. Read messages ))
