Same problem here...
I absolutely love this tool and it has been very invaluable with my RK3188 and RK3288 boxes.
I was playing around with it to extract a RK3368 ROM and whilst it would extract it, any resultant packed ROM would not flash.
I'm guessing that it needs more support for this new SOC and wondered if there were any plans to include it?
I see undefault file structures on you screens
Extract others FW.img and see right folder and file structure.
You can add you SOC in platforms.txt
In this file SOC abbreviation
This tool is amazing. Thank you. Im using this tool to modify the parameter file and change one app in the system image for my RK3188 HuiFei android double din stereo. I have a question about both. First is when rebuilding the system.img should I use the same file size as the original system.img which was 575mb? Or should I use the size allocated for the system partition in the parameter file which is 768mb? And my first attempt at modifying the parameter file to increase /userdata to 2gb and flashing the rebuilt update.img to my unit gave me an error, it said unable to mount /metadata or something along those lines, and after the install was complete my NAND flash was unable to mount in android. Any advice?
EDIT: So I was able to catch the more of the error. It says:
E:Check failed at: 0x160
Check parameter after Update...
update parameter finish...
Then it reboots and continues the install. But after install NAND flash cannot be mounted as stated above and userdata is still at original 1gb instead of the altered 2gb.
Well my last attempt seemed to work ok. No errors. And the userdata partition is expanded and NAND is mounted. I didn't do anything different so i'm not sure what changed. Does anyone know what exactly the /metadata partition has stored on it?
I dont know - what is Metadata/ I kill it partition from my tablet )))
Thanks for this. Just tried it with the RKM v5 firmware and worked fine. Only Problem I encountered was logo tool doesn't work unless I'm doing something wrong. Thanks again, its just what I needed to customize the ROM to how I want it.
Thanks you for your job.
Support 3288. 3128 resources.img files
What about 3368?
1 3128, 3288 and 3368 parts work
2 build boot.img in 2-nd layer - us it on RK32**/33** (only in OldTools button)
3 Make system.img above 1gb.
4 speed/run. optimisation and etc )
Unpack gives error "Error unpack Firmware!"
RK3368 - upgrade.img
cyber7 (aka Aubrey Kloppers; Cape town; South Africa)
This is file for update from Sdcard or PC?
How do I include userdata.img into BUILD?
1st of all: great work!
I downloaded the last version, but there was no ENG help :-(
Didn' t you receive a translation from a user some months ago?
I get the same error all the times I try to unpack a FInless Bob ROM, like this
Where do I go wrong?
you need unpack original rom and place files from you zip
adding RK322A to platforms.txt allowed me to mod a RK3229 img for Nexbox N9
