It resets the battery information held by the operating system. Sometimes it gets out of sync and causes mis reading of the battery, so your tablet may say battery low when it isn't

If your Tablet is rooted, you can also reset the Battery Stats without CWM. Easily install this App from the Google Play Store:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsImNvbS5uZW1hLmJhdHRlcnljYWxpYnJhdGlvbiJd
After installing you should fully charge your Tablet, after that you only have to press the Calibrate Button and then use the Tablet till it Powers Off, then recharge again to 100%.

    Thats it.
I used this for a Tablet and a Phone, it works great for me. ;)

    Hi

i installed it after fully charged battery , one time it said ok (nothing changed)
the second time it told me to check if my device is rooted (it is rooted) - this app must be tablet root

You should install it, after that, charge your Battery and if it has reched 100% klick the Button and it should reset the Stats.
For me it was great ! No Problems after using it. Also on rooted Devices...

Did you flash CWM correctly ? Normally the Android Robot with the open Belly is only there if there is no CWM installed !
Could you boot normally ? You could also try to install CWM with ROM Manager...

It seems you have no CWM installed.
Maybe PyromaniacB or Tuen knows something about...

I installed the rom manager , but when I tried to install from there
The recovery , it told me that M8 doesn't have CWM
Why ?? It ask if I would like to install manually ?

I even tried to rename the batterystat file
And rebooted but still nothing works

Maybe I'll try to install the new FW ...
