    CFW Rubberband V2.1.1 BETA
    http://www.mediafire.com/?mda0e31q8dbblop (password: lyt.no-ip.org)

    Changelog:
    - optimized Wifi
    - updated apps
    - newest market (named play store 3.4.7)
    - remove bootanimation (it was ugly boot animation xD)
    - remove lockscreen (run now on the default version ==> own wallpaper possible)
    - remove some apps (task manager, unusable apps)
    - most of the apps can be removed in application --> manage application

    for better go launcher settings:
on homescreen press menu button --> preferences:
    - screen settings --> grid Size: Custom grids (6x7)
    - app drawer settings --> Grid size: custom grids (5x6)

the icons on the right side (message, contact and phone) doesn't works, so you can remove them and replace with your own favorite icons

I hope you will enjoy this firmware. Let me know your experience.
This would be my last firmware that I will develop. Maybe in the future I will optimize some firmware, but it should be not this few months

    Nice firmware my friend,

For now, all work fine, 3D Games, Bluetouth, GPS, Wifi, usb keyboard, very good stability and fast booting! Honestly, Good Job man!

The only thing I found, A Touchscreen bug when I Restore Go Launcher DATA or if I attempt to uninstall and re-install Go Launcher + DATA restore. (but if I restore default Data the touchscreen return to normal). Any ideas? And someone can confirm that or it's juste me?

I'm sorry to hear that this will be your last firmware for the moment, but I understand very well ;) I have a lot of fun to test your firmwares :) tanks for that!

I can't give you a answer for now, I've crapped my 32Go last night (is not your firmware, it's probably me with partitioning tool). I give you more details in few days when I replace the internal sdcard (advice: don't buy a OEM 32Go sandisk on sunsky).

I've just installed this rom. Go Luncher is in /data/app.
I mean in this folder is file com.gau.go.launcherex-1.app.

Can't check wi-fi now, I'll do it evening.

    About soft buttons:
    1. there should be larger distance between soft buttons (c.a. 1cm - 1.5cm)
    2. lack of Settings button
    3. IMHO better composition is: Back, Home, Settings ;-), Notification (I mean this button: ^).

    About Go Launcher:
I haven't much time now to test it (or set properly). It would be good idea to remove buttons(?) from Go Launcher Applications like Running, Last used, All.

Need task manager like TaskXP. I use this program mainly to switch between running processes.

    about the soft buttons:
    1) the distance should be fine, if you have longer distance, then you won't have enough space to show your notification icons
    2) which lack?
    3) true. I'll see if I would change it. somebody else that ignoring this problem?

    Go Launcher:
the buttons on the left side are handy, you don't need to install some killtask apps.

To switch between running process, you can just hold the home button and it will display you the last running apps.

"Settings" soft button like in CFW Alldro2 v1.4

OK, I simply don't like it ;-). I would prefere use this space to display application icons. I have to live with it :).

    It works, thank you.

about the settings I'm going to look in the weekend.

about the go launcher you can remove the left menus by:
homescreen --> menu --> go to preferences (of go launcher) --> app drawer settings --> deselect "app drawer tab"

Go Launcher is OK, it is one of the fastest launcher. ADW launcher EX is different, maybe better one.

Hi, here is my report after 1 day using.

    Pro:
    1. Smooth and stable rom, without big lags.

    Cons:
    1. I left tablet with 69% battery, wi-fi off, used task manager to kill all programs then switch tablet off.
(-) After 7 hours on the morning tablet show 32% battery which fast dropped to 28%.

    2. (-) Today I can't connect to wi-fi... even if I try to modify connection parameters and rescan using Wi-fi Finder.
It is slightly strange, I'm almost sure that yesterday wi-fi working properly even afrer reboot.

    2. (-) Tablet cannot go to 'deep sleep'. I had similar problem with ZTE Blade phone with some custom roms.
As 'deep sleep' I mean state when phone or tablet can be on only by On/Off button.
Pressing other buttons shouldn't woke up phone or tablet.
This issue is present on my Dropad A8 on several different roms, I lost the latest rom where 'deep sleep' was working properly (it was probably one from prox32 roms).

    Times to start:
    1. 33 seconds from pressing On button to displaying animate ANDROID word
    2. 1min 30 sec from 1. to displaying prompt screen
    3. 13 sec from 2. to disapearing 'Preparing SD card' icon
From now system is ready to work, after c.a. 2min and 15 seconds from initial pressing On button.

    My suspections:
    - I resigned using Go Launcher on ZTE Blade phone because Go Launcher or its widgets caused battery drains, maybe this situation is present also here it should be verified
    - had strange results: after 18 hours working on battery GetJar used 60% battery (!), Screen used 35%(?), Phone inactive (probably Settings) 3%.
I had GetJar but used it ony few times in the past, will try what happens after removing it.
