    You're welcome.
And as MT6589 are almost unbrickable, feel free to try this rom and post your experience on your C2. This is, by far, the best firmware for me (and i've tried several of them).

I'll try, but when I did my first question was when I ordered the phone, and so far has not arrived yet, but when i have it, I'll post here what I think.
I found the phone very good features, and is, only after I was a bit sorry when I saw so many people complain about the wi-fi, gps, battery overheats on calls and moreover have the ghost touches ..

Problem solved, I unintentionally erase my internal storage, then CPU files washed away.
I reset to factory setting & it's fine now.

    New problem;
*3G connection sometime lost > I swapped the SIM card & solved
*My '3G Manager' app can't work properly but work fine on Lewa OS that I tried before.
    *NO OTG function!!

Sorry people, but i copy this rom to the internal sdcard root, and boot into factory mode, but in the middle of the instalation gives me error.

If i use SPF flash tool

    How to install?
Use SPF-tool to flash your device:
After open the exe, you load your scatter file
    1. put your usb cable into the phone
    2. press the download button on spf tool
    3. push your battery into your phone
    4. and wait until you see a green symbol on your screen (confirm that the flash has been completed)
happens nothing the bar is allways in 0%

I've installed the MT6589 drivers and the SPF flash tool in the root of C: drive

Can someone help me? I really want to try this rom

    Hardkeyboord,

Have you intsalled the drivers for preloader mode? Here a method to do this if you haven't done (just replace the drivers by the correct files for your zp980/C2).

Then, the whole procedure to flash:
    • unzip the rom in a folder
    • open flash-tool
    • click "scatter file loading" button on the right side
    • search and select the "xxxx.scatter.emmc.txt" in the rom folder
    • a list of options will appear on the bottow of the window
    • for your 32gb device, untick "EBR1" and "EBR2" (you will have a warning prompt later, it doesn't matter)
    • plug your device on usb without battery
    • click the "download" button (here comes the warning message, click yes^^)
    • above 3-5sec later put in the battery
    • process should start: red download bar, then yellow
    • if successfull it is, a green circle in a box should appear
    • unplug and restart your device.
    Hope it will help you.

Note: this method is the one of Tuen, thanks to him.

I thank Tuen and Haiwepa for the reply. Now i managed to flash.

I was doing right, but i was using SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1224.01 and gave me and error when loading scatter file.
When I try the SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1312.0.139, I could open the file and flash. This rom is great.

I have a question, is this rom based in zopo last firmware 20130818? Because my phone came already with this and it was great to, no ghost touch, good wi-fi and gps.

Now I have a confession to make:

I bought Zopo, and when I tried the games, I thought I should decrease slightly the resolution of the screen to run a bit better.
So I installed a damn program called Chainfire 3d.
This created me a bootloop, and I only had five days to the mobile phone ...
As I could not get the user mode or the PC to install the firmware I thought the mobile phone was bricked, and I bought another Zopo very displeased.. :(

Now I could install firmaware the second mobile phone, also tried in the first what I thought was dead, and it worked!
Now I have two Zopo zp980 ultimate 2Gb/32Gb and do not know what to do, I'm willing to sell one for 150 € for half the price, which is for me to learn to take it easy and do not be dumb.
I am from Portugal, but if someone is interested let me know please.

One more thing, which is that you guys think is the best firmware that exists, this is the vondroid or is there another?

    Thank you for everything!

    You're welcome, Hardkeyboard.
For your last question, i've tried several firmwares. Marsapa makes good rom (Gizchina). I don't like the feeling of Lewa or MIUI, it's my own opinion. They are stable, maybe you should give a try. But the one i use is again and over again the vondroid firmware. Each time i install a new rom, i come back to this one.

    Good luck for your sale.

I have a good feeling that I've made a good buy, I'm very happy with the zopo and this firmware.

I only want to know, just for curiosity, is this rom, the vondroid made by Tuen, based in zopo last firmware 20130818?
