    When you have a new battery or new iPhone, it would be great to charge them at least 8 hours.
    Li-on battery doesn't have memory effects, but it would make your battery indIcator correcty.
    In a li-on battery there is a chip that tell to the device how much % of battery (depends on voltage)

    So if your battery Isn't correctly and e.g. You have x voltage (10%) but it's not correctly calibrated, it will maybe shutdown your device (= look like your battery life span is shorter)

    update 14/01: my first charge cycle:
    my iPhone shutdown at 10% after the first time charge them.
    When i'm search on apple diagnostic i've got the following information:
    Current information:
    Update 15/01
    problem solved, after the second battery charge cycle, it goes to 1%
