Can i buy reasonably priced 3g usb modem/ datacard/ dongle/ stick having gps (hardware) functionality. Especially any of those by huawei or zte, as the dongles of these 2 companies are mostly compatible with the tablet.

One that I did come accross is a dongle by at and t in USA which also comes with GPS functionality. Very pricey though.

Will appreciate if others could share their views/experience here.

indeed the usb's are very expensive and not all of them work on our tablet.
so if you bought them and it won't work, then you will lost a lot of money on it.

Never did buy them. Just planning. But it would be definitely great to have this dual functionality at reasonable prices.

If your objective is principaly using the GPS you can use an USB Bluetooth dungle + GPS data tracker

Bluetooth USB dongle, you can purchase it for 2.67$ US here : http://www.sunsky-online.com/view/19871/Bluetooth+2.0+USB+Adapter.htm

And the Bluetooth GPS Receiver and Data logger
you can purchase it for 30.86$ US here : http://www.sunsky-online.com/view/12620/Bluetooth+GPS+Receiver+%26+Data+Logger.htm

I personnaly use NAVIGON US/CANADA to navigate offline and if I need internet for restaurants, gaz stations, radars and more I share my internet 3G via Wifi with my cell phone.
