Are you saying, your battery is draining fast with this 3.8.9 ROM?

Hi, I'm currently on v3.8.2 and cannot update on v3.8.9. When I tried to update ota package via recovery, I always get an error. When updating with full image, the phone doesn't start again. I don't want to make a clean installations and spent the time with restore.

    Problems I have with v3.8.2:
    - battery still not charging on 100% (same with all ROMs I tried, none of the solutions mentioned on this forum working for me)
    - when I accept incoming call, it takes about 5 seconds till the call is properly connected and in meanwhile phone still ringing
    - automatic time detection not working. I need to set the time zone manually (GMT+1), but in some applications (hangout) its showing the time 1h earlier - same as if I have automatic time zone. I had this problem with all ROMs.
    - recently cannot turn on the Bluetooth (yesterday was working fine and reboot doesn't help)
    - in call volume cannot be regulated

@Stanislav: last version is 3.8.9 - it has Chinese and English language

green, no problem for me, though sometimes its true that battery charges up to 98 or 99 only. install via cwm and if you are coming from another miui rom, no need to wipe, you can just wipe dalvik cache.
bluetooth works fine now though it took time to power on for the first, i just had to be patient.
RED- It annoys me a lot that i can not pick up or hang the phone as quickly as i would wish, and so far no one in this thread has been able to provide the solution for it. call volume too high for me and it seems like it can not be lowered

I have this issue, but when I receive incoming call and I reject it continue to ring, But when I press the lock button stops. Somebody to try this for answering incoming calls. My battery is charging until 100%, sometimes stop on 97-98%, but unplug and plug back the cable charge it until 100%.
Also the Bluetooth stops some times, but restart is fixing this issue.

3.8.9. is running on my device, it will be tested tomorrow, but at the first look/try the issue with incoming calls delay is fixed. Below is the link for the multi language pack provided by MIUIAndroid Multilang Project leader. Hope the update will be available on regular basis. So flash the English ROM, followed by multi lang and enjoy v3.8.9.

The version uploaded here for v.3.8.9 had not fixed the issue with incoming calls delay, may be if you mean the version in the link you have provided which doesnt work anyway. And are you sure its for newman n2?

i dont know how to test the used RAM but i do experience very few lags if any. But may be it depends on the usage. The problems that really annoys me in this rom are calls pick-up delay and hang up ofcourse.

Version in the link is the multi langauge pack for v.3.8.9. It is not ROM itself.

Updating modem firmware should fix call delay thing, at least it worked for me. Flash latest Xtreamer ROM and let it update your firmware. Then just reflash latest MIUI and problem should be gone.

I agree. I've had this issue for a while, but after flashing Xtreamer ROM it was snappier when later I flashed MIUI.

What modem fw version do you have? Are you able to check it also in MIUI? I gone to MIUI from stock v18 and I had build number and software version BP 00.18 and ISP version 0x108.
And which of XTreamer ROM did you had? I suspect modem firmware also for my battery problems (cause I didn't have any with ICS ROMs).
See my battery charging history in attachment.

I had Xtreamer 3.8.1 then restored MIUI 3.8.9 then flashed MIUI 3.8.16 over it but did wipe Dalvik cache to preserve apps. We can't check build and ISP version in MIUI unfortunately.

by the way unofficial v3.8.16. for Newman N2 has not been released yet, would you please provide the link?
