I read some documentation about: AFPTool.exe (Windows) o rkunpack(linux) and ATPTool.exe (Windows) o rkafpack(linux). But not sure if old tools and not valid for N101 or RK3066 based devices

Do you know if we can restore an specific ROM, using a backup.img file from "dd" copy and overriding this tablet partition, then running factory reset? I've tried without success.
Or only can do this restore, packing a firmware and rkbatchtool?

There is a tool called RKAndroidTool that can just restore partition like boot, kernel, misc, recovery, system...

I'm trying to learn how to build my custom ROM. First I'm trying do following, for understand recovery factory proccess:

I've two identicals N101, one has a custom ROM, and other remains original ROM.
I want to flash the original ROM to the customized ROM tablet to recover as factory suply.

    This is my aproach:
    - From original ROM device I dumped partitions via dd command and obtained an .img file for each partition.
    - I try to use obtained backup.img from original ROM to override the partitions via a factory reset option. I followed next proccess:
    - Copy backup.img to the recover target tablet
    - Run inverse dd copy, from backup.img to partition.
    - Then try to recover executing factory reset or via recovery reboot, but in both cases it continues loading the custom ROM, and not override/recovery any partitions with backup.img.

    After understand before
I want to build a valid img for rkbatchtool with fonix232 tools that you recomend.
I just obtained every partition on an .img file but ... I read tones of documentation about it, and now no clear what partitions we need to include, and what process need to follow with fonix232 tools.
    some step guidance? thx :)

    THX!! Tuen!
In other way, do you think that override backup partition like before test, can be a valid way to restore a ROM?
Do you know why not working?

    Good evening to everybody,
I hope someone will help me with the img_maker command, I think I'm one step from the top, but it is a step that I still can't do by myself...
I've been trying everywhere but I have not been able to find an explanation for these parameters:
[loader] [major version] [minor version] [subversion]
I have a Rockchip 3066 device, the example shows:
    -rk30 Loader.bin 1 0 23 rawimage.img rkimage.img \tRK30 board
but it's like getting blood out of a stone.
    Thanks.
