received today the powersupply of pandawill

    first impression:
    - the power supply feels really crappy
    - about 5cm shorter then the original one
    - on the bottom there is 2 holes, on one of the hole, you can see a green light if you have plug them into the wall plug xD

    original vs panda will

after use them a few times, it is a very bad charger, the connector doesn't hold so good in the connector,
the build quality is very cheap!!!
I've got a replacement part from eternal team, and it works a lot better.

I've advice to order them extra from Eternal team then from panda will!!

I have ordered two cheap ones I linked on eBay, I'll let you know if it's bad quality.
At least it's not the same one Pandawill has, the design is a little different, looking at the pictures.

looking at the plug that connects to the tablet and how much it sticks out got me to thinking.
The other day i seen a mod for earbud headphones using a product called Sugru http://sugru.com/
it's a self setting rubber but i cant find any in my country after a little more googling i think I've found that moldable silicone ear plugs are the same stuff, so what i plan to do is get some from a chemist/drug store and use it to extend the plastic on the power supply plug so as the metal pin is not so visable.

have a look on the sugru site you'll see what i mean.

thats the thing I'll only need 1 packed, i just got back from shopping and had a look in a chemist and found moldable ear plugs but it looks like they stay squishy so i decided to try and make some after reading instructables.com in the shed.
I got some caulking silicone and mixed it with some corn flour/startch until it resembled a putty like substance.
I've got some drying now to see how it goes on an old wall plug to see if it actually grabs to the plastic.
if all else fails I'll order some as it might come in handy for something.

Has anybody found a micro usb to DC adapter for cheaper than this one? I have so many micro usb chargers laying around that it would be great to be able to use those with the N101.

I'm trying to find a replacement that looks as similar to the original charger as possible (US plug). Does anyone know of one I can order that I can get here quickly?

Hi Tuen! Is this compatible with my N101 I http://www.ebay.com/itm/EU-5V-2A-AC...uting_CablesConnectors_RL&hash=item19d50b7dfd

Or a cheaper one would do the same?

That is a suitable one. Here's a cheaper one though: EURO Plug 5V Power Adapter Anti-interference Charger F Capacitive Tablet 2.5mm

Note: I have two of those and the other one isn't working properly so the quality is not very good. The one that's working sometimes gives ghost input while charging, but the plug is better than the one in the original charger which sometimes goes on and off on it's own.

Yesterday I received my N101 with US charger instead of EU...
Do you know if this charger is 100-240V?
if it is - then I'll buy US-EU plug adapter. If not - I need to buy a new one :/

    EDIT:
I just got back home - the original charger is 100-240V and it works just fine with US-EU adapter :)
