Some benchmark showing the RK3288 lacking in GPU department against the also expected A80...

But these are preliminary results of unknown sources...so do not take them for granted.

"Chrome OS on Rockchip RK3288 with Mali-T764 in Tablets, Set-top-boxes, shipping next month

    upload_2014-4-13_20-25-22.png

Rockchip shows RK3288 Quad-core ARM Cortex-A17 in Tablets, booting Chrome OS (named Chromium OS when not Google certified), playing back H265 4K 60fp HDMI 2.0 10bit, extremely fast Mali-T764 GPU, mass production starts next month...."

Are we sure - shipping next month!? Why they are still refusing to say A17 - especially when it is shown here ..in clear print at the booth!?
It says A17 and Mali T764...

RK3288 over 40 tsd in AnTuTu!?

    'PIPO P1'
    • 4-core Rockchip RK3288 (4 x Cortex-A17, Mali-T764)
    • 9.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels,
    • 2 GB DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, and also battery capacity 10,000 mAh.
    • 3G generation mobile communications
    • GPS

If true - quite an impressive result esecially as A80 (which should be in the same ballpark) is suppsoed to hit a number in same ballpark..

Let's wait, what it really can do... I also watch the Intel 64 bit coming up soon and maybe they will beat the rest.

Anyway, I think for a good performance 20000 Antutu is enough...

Sure thing for most tasks..but the biggest leap in experience might happen in GPU compartment...
If you are happy with 20,000 Antutu ..why do you care about 64bit then!?
    Memory bottleneck !?

Sure, 64Bit maybe will bring up some new Expieriences with multitasking and Android 4.4...
Anyway, I love everything new, 64Bit is a new Chapter of China Tablets and really cool for this Price Range.

I personally ordered a FNF iFive mini 3 for me. I think for myself the best Choice is 7.9 inch Retina with 3188 and 2GB RAM. Also iFive has a great build Quality and I payed
less then 120€ from one of our Sellers.

Well.. we all know.. how long it took for 64bit to catch on in the PC space...I mean software..it took years...
So even if this spaces a lot faster... I think the average might not get anything useful out of 64bit anytime soon....
