Unfortunately, nothing of significance happened this week, except of course everything that’s significant in Android! We started off our week with Google shipping out Android Pie. We have a full review, video, and podcast about it, all in one place!

Along that same line, we got a better look at the Pixel 3 coming this fall. Yes, the gigantic chin and notch are still there, but now we get a look deeper into the box. Be sure to check that out.

Finally, we were in New York City for Samsung’s much anticipated Unpacked 2018. And it was a doozy! Not only were we introduced to the Galaxy Note 9, but Samsung also unveiled the next Samsung Galaxy Watch, Bixby 2.0, and the surprise of the day – the Galaxy Home! That’s right, Samsung is in the smart speaker game now. Along with partnerships with Fortnite creator, Epic Games and Spotify, Samsung had a lot to say (and dance about) this past Thursday.
